We breed Karakachans with a variety of colors and patterns, including black and white, brindle, and blonde. Large boned puppies with either Long tails or bob tails.
We have meticulously handpicked our parent Karakachans from well known and respected breeders in the USA. This is obviously time consuming and expensive but it's our labor of love!
We have fallen in love with Karakachans and value their enormous and boundless loyalty and protection for our herd of Miniature Jersey cows and their calves and family including our poultry and children. Breeding large, healthy, as well as well balanced and experienced livestock guardians dogs for your livestock, family and pets is our top priority and our passion.
Our puppies are bred in a family run farm environment and within our closed herd and are raised alongside our livestock. They are socialized from birth to when they go home to you and their forever homes and employment.

We are guided by American Karakachan Dog Association and local professional veterinary care. Our Karakachan puppies are vaccinated, dewormed, micro chipped and registered for you when you take your puppy home.

Ginger is the 4th largest in her litter, has a good appetite and has a sturdy, non controversial personality. She prefers to and loves to romp about with her littermates but is also in charge. This female definitely reminds us all of her dam, Arthemis, who's a very sweet, fiercely protective, and a busy LGD.

The Rock is the 3rd largest in his litter, has a good appetite and has a sturdy, non controversial personality. He prefers to be checking his fence lines and keeping an eye on his shepherd and litter mates although he definitely loves to romp about too!. Rock reminds us of his sire, Ares, who's a very sweet, fiercely protective, yet quiet LGD.

Jersey Cow Farms Karakachan puppies
Our karakachan puppies are seen by a licensed veterinarian, and will be vaccinated, dewormed, have had a flea, tick, and heartworm preventative treatment and will be microchipped. They are registerable. Jersey Cow Farms provides lifetime breeder support.
Puppies will be available after they are 8 weeks old.
Puppies grow up and are exposed to cattle, chickens, cats, and children.

Our Karakachan Puppies will be a mix of short/bob tail and long tail.
Blond, Red, red/white, black /white, and white/brown.
The parents are large boned so we expect the puppies to be on the larger size
The puppies will have been exposed to chickens, cattle, dogs, cats and children.
Your puppy will be micro chipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and registered when he/she goes home with you.
We are now accepting applications and once approved, you may pay your deposit.
Please use application to indicate your puppy preference (Gender, tail, or color)
We will do our best to match you with your puppy but is based on first come/first serve.
If you are not able to get your puppy preference, you will be credited towards the next litter.

An LGD is a dog bred for the purpose of protecting livestock from predators. Karakachan dogs are independent, brave, and very intelligent. They have the most wonderful and easy ability to bond with their livestock at an early age and are content to spend all of their time with their herd or charges and bond with their owners very easily.
