If your home is a good fit, and you are approved, we will notify you with the link to the our Karakachan puppy contract. If you want to reserve your puppy, you would then make a $300 deposit on your puppy with your signed contract. This can be in the form of PayPal, Zelle or Venmo

2. What is the cost of one of your Karakachan puppies?

Currently our Karakachans puppies are priced $1500.00 for either a boy or girl. Long or bob tail, any color or combination. We are responsible breeders, when determining the cost, we must figure in the cost to acquire the very best breeding parents, with an outstanding pedigree and excellent health history, is extremely expensive. Building and maintaining proper housing and a nursery complete with whelping necessary is costly. The other costs that factor into the cost of a Karakachan puppy from us include annual checkups with labs and shots, the DNA testing and annual testing. The vet check of the female prior to breeding with lab work. Health checks for the puppy, Microchipping, housing, food, washing/cleaning and grooming tools. Registration fees, high quality feed and emergency vet fees to name a few.

Each karakachan puppy will be sold with a Purchase Contract/Agreement. This contract can be forwarded via email once your application has been approved. Once your application has been approved you may put down your deposit. We will require the contract to be signed prior to the puppy going to its new home.

3. What does my puppy come with?

✔MICROCHIPPING

All of our Karakachan puppies are microchipped for the safety of the puppy.

✔WELLNESS

All our karakachan puppies are raised in excellent conditions and are healthy.

We plan only a few litters a year so we are able to focus on producing healthy and well socialized puppies that are perfect for your family.

✔VACCINATIONS

All karakachan puppies need a series of puppy vaccinations. They receive age appropriate vaccinations.

✔CAREFULL RECORDS

You will receive a copy of your karakachan puppy record (Vaccinations current and Deworming)

and will be provided to you when you receive your puppy. Please provide this information to your veterinarian on your first visit.

4. When can I pick my puppy up?

Your Karakachan puppy will be available to be picked up at 10-12 weeks. The remaining balance is due at the time of pick up. When you leave with your new puppy, you will have its medical record including dates of veterinarian visits, shots and deworming. We will pre-register with AKDA. Each puppy will also receive a copy of both parent’s registrations to distinguish their lineage. Florida law requires that our puppies for sale in Florida or any pet traveling outside the state needs to have a health certificate, or (OCVI) Official Certificate of Veterinary Inspection. This is approximately $100 and although we will arrange, it is the buyer financial responsibility.

5. What if I live out of state or not able to travel?

Your puppy is available as pick up or via hand delivery by a pet courier, air transportation is also an option. If you choose air transportation, your puppy will need a health certificate and airline approved crate, this is available for an additional $100 not including airfare.

We can help you find a reliable and trustworthy door to door pet and animal transportation courier to help you bring your puppy home safe and sound right to your door if you are unable to personally come pick up your puppy. Courier prices vary depending on your location. Transportation costs are the buyer's responsibility.

6. Does my puppy come with breeding rights?

Our Karakachan puppies are sold as LGD only and are not sold with any breeding rights. Althought, we have occasionally in certain situations given breeding rights so please do inquire if this is something you would like to discuss further.

We require your Karakachan puppy to be spayed or neutered by 24-26 months of age, at this time we can will register your puppy in your name.

6. Do you offer a health guarantee?

Our puppies are regularly assessed by a licensed veterinarian and will be up to date on all required vaccinations., as well as deworming. All puppies are assessed by our veterinarian prior to leaving our farm and will be negative for known health issues.
